A total of 17,453 students have been included in the provisional list. These are students who secured 80% or more marks in the Higher Secondary Examination 2026 conducted by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) and successfully submitted their applications online within the prescribed period. Students who applied for the scheme are advised to check the provisional list carefully and verify their name, roll number, marks and other details. If there is any discrepancy or if an applicant wishes to raise a claim or objection, it can be submitted on or before 30 October 2026. After considering the claims and objections, the department will publish the Final List of Beneficiaries. After properly verifying the beneficiary details, the Nodal Principals will release the money to the concerned dealer without delay.</li><li>The students will collect the scooters from the dealers concerned. The students will not pay any money to the dealers for cost of registration and insurance.</li><li>The helmet will be provided free of cost to the beneficiary student along with the Scooter.
