Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized University or Institute:

• Three years full-time Bachelor degree in Sericulture; OR
• Four years full-time Bachelor degree in Sericulture; OR
• Three years full-time degree + Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture; OR
• Four years full-time Bachelor degree in Agriculture Sciences / Forestry; OR
• Three years full-time degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology / Botany / Biology) or Biotechnology + PG Diploma in Sericulture; OR
• Three years full-time Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology / Botany / Biology) or Biotechnology + one year experience in Sericultural project work.

Desirable Qualification: Prior practical experience in silkworm rearing and grainage (pre-cocoon sector).

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 35 years as on the closing date (26.10.2026). Standard government relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories as per government rules.
