Purabi Dairy Recruitment 2026
West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Limited (WAMUL) popularly known as Purabi Dairy has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 9 Assistant IV (Dairy) and Assistant-I Dairy (Operator) posts under Purabi Dairy on contract basis, for an initial period of 2 years. 1. Assistant IV (Dairy)
No of posts: 01 post
Age Limit: Not above 33 years as on 1st October, 2026. However, relaxation up to 3 years may be given in case of extraordinary/ outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
Salary: CTC Rs.5.71 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Fixed/ Variable Components (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Full time 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed educational Institute/University.
Experience: Should have minimum 3 years’ of full time operation and maintenance experience in manufacturing industry (Preferably in Dairy/Food Industry).
Location: Dairy Plant (under WAMUL area of operations)
2. Assistant-I Dairy (Operator)
No of posts: 08 posts
Age Limit: Not above 28 years as on 1st October, 2026. However, relaxation up to 3 years may be given in case of extraordinary/ outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
Salary: CTC Rs. 3.92 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Fixed/ Variable Components (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed ITI in Electrical trade/ Fitter trade/Electronics Mechanic trade from a NCVT/SCVT approved institute.
Experience: Should have minimum 1 year of full time relevant experience in manufacturing industry (Preferably in Dairy/Food Industry).
Location: Dairy Plant (under WAMUL area of operations) Additional Skills/Desirables

Additional Skills/Desirables
Assistant-I Dairy (Operator)
- Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and dairy industry.
- Technical Experience: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and Refrigeration System.
- Must be able to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise volume.
- Knowledge in ISO,5S, GMP, Kaizen etc.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Delivering results under crisis by maintaining calm and tactfulness.
- A willingness to learn
- Interpersonal skills
